Marguerite Ramlow teaches vinyasa flow style yoga, encouraging each student to work within their own limits while guiding them to find the joy of proper alignment and strength in each pose. Meditation and time for inner reflection are an important part of her teaching.
Marguerite Ramlow is a Experienced E200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher.

Climate Change and Human Health

Paul Sletten, M.D., Waupaca Family Physician, will speak on Climate Change and Human Health in the Pinery Room of the Portage County Public Library, at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27th. Dr. Sletten's talk is the second in a series of ten forums on aspects of climate change to be presented in the Fourth-Thursday Climate Forums sponsored by Stevens Point Citizens' Climate Lobby, the Aldo Leopold Audubon Society, the Interfaith Community for the Earth, and the Frame Presbyterian Green Team. This forum will explore how oil, gas, and coal emit pollution when burned, how that pollution is changing our climate, and how that in turn affects our health.
All ten monthly Fourth-Thursday Climate Forums at the Portage County Public Library are open to the public free of charge, and refreshments will be served.

Walk Wisconsin

Held annually the first Saturday in June each year, Walk Wisconsin is the premier walking event in the Midwest! This is a non-competitive event, encouraging walkers of all ages and ability levels. The full, 1/2 and 1/4 marathon events utilize the scenic Green Circle Trail which passes the Wisconsin River, Plover River, several lakes, and unique ecosystems. The trail base for all routes include a combination of wood chips, crushed granite, road surface and wood boardwalk.
